Diet Chef September Updates

Disclaimer- Precious Little Worlds have been sent out a hamper of food from Diet Chef for free in exchange for our honest opinion for the purpose of our blog, to report back to you the viewers our findings.

I have been doing Diet Chef for over a month now and finding myself in and out of the food as I personally not a huge fan of the dinners so as sometimes have to find my own food to replace this.

As I am a very honest and open person I am struggling with my life at the moment with my disabled daughter with Hydrocephalus not only this I juggle my work life blogging and personal all at the same time.

For Breakfast I still have Diet Chef items and very impressed by these as they have a wide selection to choose from but I do find that I simply do not have enough of some food to last me then have other items gone ?

Love the Breakfast Biscuits also I use the snack ones for the morning too, do find is not enough as would like to do a week with them then do a week with the granola.

Lunch Had the delicious –

Tomato, Pepper, Cheese Pasta Pot

Instant fusilli pasta, bound in a delicious tomato, red pepper and cheese flavoured sauce, delicately enhanced with basil and parsley. A great balance of flavours to make even an Italian Grandmother smile! Serve on its own, or accompanied by a crisp, green salad with lemon juice and a splash of olive oil.

This tasty, quick meal has been especially designed for those times when you are in a rush, or don’t have access to a microwave. The pot contains dry instant pasta and a delicious savoury sauce, to which you just add hot water. It’s light and easy to carry with you. Perfect when on the go!

Love the flavour of the pasta very good at work as you only need to add boiling water.
Dinner –
Vegetable Curry
A fantastic deep flavoured and very filling dish! A Balti style curry packed full of chunky potato, carrots, peas, celery and green beans, cooked in creamy tasting well balanced spices with a little heat and notes of coriander. Perfect and not just for vegetarians!

I have to say not a huge fan of the dinner from Diet Chef just cant seem to get my head round them.Find the textures are just too slimy for me.
Its ok but would I stick to the soups for my Dinner as they are much nicer and are very much like your own soups that you make at home, as I could not tell the difference between my hubby’s home-made soup and Diet Chefs which I think is good as they taste so fresh.
For the weeks in September my snacks that I had.
Another new addition to our range, this milk chocolate covered cranberry flavour bar just perfect for when you need to take something with you. It’s truly delicious as well as very filling, and not like a lot of other protein bars.

These bars are so nice not too much cranberry in them but just enough to get the taste coming though.
For my weight nothing has changed I did put on a few pounds before this then I dropped down again.
After this don’t seem to be loosing weight just staying the same ,do think the key is also good exercise so stared on my bike and cross-trainer and now seeing my body tone up.
Still got a way to go to reach my goal as not get rid of my tub.
Next Update will be next Friday 10 of October.
